Ah….

Did not miss this at all!

Phone government hostile takeover and screaming at me to let me know missiles have been fired from Iran and are now making their way to us here…

Air raid war sirens going off letting us know we need to get our asses to the bomb shelter because of incoming missiles now coming "our way" so we need to run…

Sitting on the floor of the bomb shelter for an hour as the sirens outside scream and loud booms are heard all around by the falling derbies of the intercepted missiles…

Sleeping with cloths on…

Canceling all plans we had…

Oh boy…

Surely did not miss this!

But this is life now.

This is life in Israel now.

We live under some karmic law that keeps us at high tension constantly. Always being targeted. Always being hated and fired upon… this is so sad and we are so tired of this… :-(

But we keep on. we are just little people… we did not start this war… we are just the receivers of it.

Just two days ago we got into a conversation with friends at a wedding in the desert of how crazy we all are living here. How insane are we to raise children here! (not me and Ayelet but everyone else around us) how foolish it is to keep staying here and hoping things will get better as our open eyes see the downfall of this land and its people? How crazy is it to stay here?!

We all know the drill. This is our karma. You cannot escape your karma.

So, we stay. We stay and do good. We stay do good and try all the time to do better, do more, be positive, eyes open but a smile in the heart of love and hope, of good and kindness, of loving helpful light to all others…

Even though all this is going on all around us, we have our own mission of peace to concentrate on and work towards… from the background, in the shadows… just keeping on…

Our very first 10 world peace wind powered prayer wheels are made and ready to be spread around Israel! We have found 10 worthy first places to put them in, spread all over the country! We will upload them to the map we made on our new website for world peace prayer wheels so you can see where they are!

This is so exciting!!!!!

Exactly one year ago we were in the USA when it hit us that this is what we need to do… not run away from Israel to live where it is safe and quit, no. we need to stay and push back with the right kind of attitude of loving kindness… in the shadows and background… that lead us to the small wind powered, unmarked wheels idea… what a concept!

And now, one year later we are setting up the first 10!

Wow!

This is incredible…

We will not back down.

We will not stop.

Until we die, be it of old age or of a missile attack from far away enemies, we will continue to do what we do, to make this world a bit better than how we found it coming in here, to live in the aspiration to do better and to leave here once life is over knowing we did the best we could to do better, to push against the darkness with the light of loving kindness…

One of the best given teachings I got years ago was:

"practice being there while getting there"

So, we practice that there is world peace, that there is love and understanding between all creatures on earth, that we all see each other and tend to one another in the time of need, that all humans understand death and impermanence and live accordingly to that, that the system is now helpful, kind, working toward the betterment of all life on earth including the earth itself as well, that new ideas that have powerful potential to the betterment of all life on earth are celebrated instead of buried in the pursuit of money fame and glory, that the futility of trying to grab as much as possible has been laid to rest and understood at the face of death and that in the end, things turn around and we give more instead of take more, that life started to flourish instead of eating one another to survive…

Is this possible?

I sure hope so.

I do my very best in that direction.

Come join us!
