This prayer wheel is crafted in the personal design of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche — one of the most revered Tibetan Buddhist masters alive today. Rinpoche himself spins this exact design daily.
Why this size?
Rinpoche specifically advises spinning a medium sized prayer wheel — small enough to spin for long periods without tiring, perfectly balanced in the hand. Cherry is one of the lightest hardwoods we work with, making this the easiest HEGR wheel to spin for extended practice.

  • 8 million Green Tara mantras printed on microfilm

Rinpoche's personal touch:
The drum carries no painted mantra — by Rinpoche's own request. He loves to wrap his blessed rubber wrist mantra bands directly around the drum. Every rubber band on our HEGR wheels is personally blessed by H.E. Garchen Rinpoche and sent to us directly from the Garchen Buddhist Institute in Arizona.
