Wanted to let you all know what is going on in our little lives here as of today, for we do not know what tomorrow would bring.
Days have less sirens in our part of Israel but the rest of the country is being bombed constantly by Iranian ballistic missiles. We have night time sirens go off and we run to the bomb shelter.
At least on our side of the middle east this war is not as terrible as it is on all other sides experiencing it. Israel and the US are constantly bombing Iran and Israel is also bombing Lebanon frequently as Hezbollah has joined the fight and are sending rockets and drones daily on the north of Israel. We get little to none rockets and drones form the north (as of today at least). We get to hear and see the jet fighters go off all the time and that is also very loud and sad…
May this all end! And peace among man can finally come! Why are we all fighting so much? This is crazy…
A Hindu prayerwheel is born!
I wanted to share with you all a beautiful new prayer wheel we have made on the request of a customer who asked us to craft a Hindu mantra prayer wheel of her choice. This is the second Hindu prayer wheel we have made and it came out absolutely stunning! Here are photos of it and a video too. What a beautiful prayer wheel! We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to craft it, at a time of war, in the blue and white colors (Israel's flag colors) and to spin it here, sending out its mantra to all directions.
At the request of our customer, this is the mantra inside of this prayer wheel:
शिवम् शांतम् जगनाथन सत्यम् शिवम् सुन्दरम् ॐ नमः शिवाय
We have only made one Hindu prayer wheel before that had a different mantra inside of it, but we custom tailor our prayer wheels to the best of our ability to what our customers wish. We are so honored to have been able to do this for this customer who is eagerly waiting for the sky to open and for us to ship it to her, as of now, the sky is still closed to air traffic meaning no DHL shipments going out. We hear that this will end soon and the sky will reopen to flights going out so to all who are waiting for your prayer wheels, we will be able to ship soon! We hope…

One more amazing thing that has happened is that we got a Persian prayer to add to our prayer wheels! How appropriate to add it now to our world peace prayer wheels!
It came from the most unlikely place, a reform Rabbi in Israel who visited our prayer wheel making studio a few weeks back with a group of reform Rabbis who had their yearly seminar in the Kibbutz next to us (one mile away) and were looking to do something educational in one of the days of the seminar and heard about us and what we do so they scheduled a visit and came. It was amazing to sit with them all and talk about who we are and what we do. They all felt very connected to our cause and were so amazed to hear about our interfaith world peace wind prayer wheels and the fundraiser!
One of them contacted us two days ago to thank us again for the eye-opening visit to our studio and shared that thanks to that visit, she has now incorporated this prayer from the Quran, translated by a scholar doctor here in Israel to Persian to be added to their Rabbi group's daily prayers!
خدایا، تو آشتی هستی و آستی از توست.
This just goes to show you how amazing these folks are… Jewish Rabbi's adding a prayer from the Quran to their daily prayers… translated to Persian to fit to these times, for this time now when war with Iran is blazing.
She absolutely blew our little minds.
Really.
These are the real Israeli's here… as apposed to the loud government making all this noise and death…
Amongst all of us living here, there are many who wish to have peace with Iran, peace with the entire region.
Peace in the middle east!
And then world peace to follow!
Can you imagine?

fundraiser news!
Our fundraiser has reached 6% of its first goal! We are so happy!!! We will start with what we have gotten till now and that is enough to make 6 wind wheels and spread them around Israel to start with! This is amazing!!!! Thank you all so much for helping us with our dream!
Thanks to all of you out there, we can have this dream of ours come true!
We will share with you all when they are made and ready and placed around Israel to spin for world peace!

As for our little lives, we are still here, we see missiles in the sky almost every night coming down on Israel, we do our very best to keep our spirits up and continue to do what we know how to do and that is to craft prayer wheels for the benefit of all beings! it is not so easy at times like this but what else can we do? We are so fortunate to have this in our lives and to have a place to go to and do this… our studio is our safe haven and we feel so blessed to be in it doing what we love… and from time to time run to the bomb shelter while the siren is screaming above our heads…
What crazy times…
We love you all out there, thank you for making our lives matter, for all your amazing emails and wishes (we got a lot!) and for spinning our prayer wheels out there in the world with your loving hands for the benefit of all beings! what you do is the most important… spinning your prayer wheels!
Will keep you updated from time to time so to not overflow you with too much of this negativity… after all, who needs so much of this?

We hope that where ever you are now, you have nothing like this going on in your lives. We will continue to aspire to live in a normal place, a normal land, a normal government and to keep doing the best we can for the benefit of all beings, if not in this life, then in the next.
