There are now TWO fundraisers going for almost the same project
It seems that yesterday's email started a bit of a misunderstanding and confusion about the fundraiser for the Wind Powered World Peace Prayerwheels that me, Ayelet and Dr. Lorne Ladner are starting.
This fundraiser has not yet started officially because we are trying to figure out the best donation platform to use, but in the mean time we allowed customers who reached out yesterday and already wanted to pitch in and donate to do so through the little yellow "Donation" button on the bottom of our website.
The reason we did not go through that "Donation" button for the entire fundraiser (we might still do so in the end, we have a platform we are checking now and will have an answer hopefully in a week) is because we believe in this project so much, we are not sure we want all these funds to go through our accounting. It will change the income tax we have to pay yearly to the government and to the IRS (I am an American citizen) but if that is what needs to be done? That is what we will do.
But, since we do not have the platform figured out yet and people are reaching out to donate, you may all do so on the little yellow "Donation" button in the footer.
We want as many people taking part in this project!

As for the second project that has a fundraiser and is on the new website made by Pema and Lorne, that one is for 37 wind powered prayerwheels with only Buddhist mantras in them, one (the Green Tara nano film) of them is not even made yet and could take months till we have it here to fill prayerwheels. That fundraiser is made and done by Pema following her teacher's advice to promote world peace through prayerwheels.

This is the biggest project of our little lives
All we want to do in this short life is to bring as much benefit to all beings as possible, this project is the biggest one of our little lives...
We are SO honored and overwhelmed that all this came to our door by the kindness of Dr. Lorne Ladner (who wrote the book Wheel of Great Compassion ) who reached out to us on November of 2024, one month after the Oct. 7th attack... we were all so in shock still and Lorne's idea jump started something extraordinary... ❤️
Lorne's idea was to construct a world peace multi faith prayerwheel in a time of war in Israel. After some thought we decided that the way to go is to have many small, inconspicuous wind powered prayerwheels filled with all mantras and prayers so not to attract any unwanted attention to the prayerwheels themselves...
Much better than one huge one (multi faith prayerwheel) that might attract the wrong kind of attention...
This way, with the wind powered prayerwheels, no one's the wiser.
They do not look like prayerwheels so they will not attract any attention while still doing their "thing" as the world peace prayerwheels that they are ;-)
So, to sum up:
There are two fundraisers, both with very similar names!
Ours is still done for now with the little yellow "Donation" button in the footer of our website (When we shift to another donation platform, we will send out an extra email again.).
The one on the new website of Pema and Lorne is Pema's fundraiser - and it is a GoFundMe type
Make the most of this day, your life, this world… all of it!
It ends so quickly… we take nothing...
